Next week I start teaching again. Yay!

Next week I also start studying again. Not yay. ๐Ÿ˜“The good news is, I'm one course away from finishing my ARCT. When I'm done, boy, am I going to celebrate!

So, couple of minor details for anyone who cares to know:

Blogging Schedule

I'll be going back to once-a-month blog posts, keeping you updated on how both in-person and online lessons are going. (Teaser: I'm super excited to write September's update! I've got a fantastic & fun theme for this month in the in-person studio -- hopefully I can apply it to the online studio as well -- and I can't wait to share with you about it.)

Of course, this blogging schedule doesn't apply to the Word of the Week, which starts next week. For those of you who have been wondering for a while what's up with the Word of the Week, students earn points by 1) knowing the Word of the Week, 2) practicing four times or more, and 3) performing for a friend or family member, who then signs. Once they've collected a certain number of points, they get a prize! I'm still trying to figure out how this applies to the online students, since they can't pick something out from the prize box. But online families, don't worry. I've got a couple of ideas to make sure your children don't miss out on the fun. :) The Word of the Week will be up on here every week.

Online Studio Policy is Completed!

I'm excited to announce that I now have an online studio policy, as well as an in-person policy. I even made a Google Forms registration form for online students! (Which I found out can be finicky. Google Forms, apparently, has a predisposition to certain technical issues.) In the future, I'll likely have the online policy up on the blog. For now, it's only available to families expressing interest.
