Important Update to Studio Policy
Piano teaching is my passion. It's also my livelihood. That's why I have a studio policy in place. It's a fairly straightforward policy, simple and flexible, but it ensures that there is clear communication between my customers and I regarding payment. But recently I discovered that there's one important thing missing in my policy: what my policy is when a student decides, mid-semester, that they no longer want to do piano. As of today, that clause is being added in: Should the student decide to quit piano mid-semester, for any reason, I require a lump sum payment for the remainder of the semester, no exceptions. Right now, I would very much like to go on a rant for all the reasons you shouldn't let your budding pianist quit mid-semester.
